Visit with Pop and Evie

These pretty flowers greeted us as we arrived.

Kathy told me these were originally from Edith's garden.

Always sweet smiles and warm greetings from these loved ones.
Evie's grandchildren came running for their daily visit.
Notice Evie has some peas coming up.
She put the lime down to discourage the rabbits.
Ken wanted to cut the large dead tree down that stands out front of the house.
Pop and Ken discussed matters first

Careful planning and decisions were made on
how to cut each large branch

This branch was a tough one to handle.
The guiding line was hooked to a car.

The rotten wood shattered to pieces as it fell.
The last branch was tackled.
Finished at the end of a long day of work.
There is clean up work waiting for another day.

A huge pile of dead branches to burn later.
The bird feeder was not visited today.
An empty nest was knocked down.
The mother bird tending this nest came and went hurriedly.
Sweet memories linger from our day.
